So, our darling babies are growing up! Viola had her first birthday, and Shiloh’s going to be starting school soon. He’s developing a real interest in music too, he’s becoming very talented.
In other news, this was the last few hours we got to spend with Casper :( Mila insisted we send him off to boarding school.
“He’s our baby!” I told her, “You can’t just ship him away!”
But she was serious. “You think I want to see him go? I’m doing this for Caspie! You’ve seen how good he’s getting at sports. And he was so excited when I showed him the brochures for Dribbledine… and with the money we made off the old house, we can finally afford this. This will be good for him, honey.”
And after a lot of sobbing and arguing, I finally did see her point and agree. He slipped off when we were watching Shiloh blow out his candles, didn’t want a big fuss. But I miss him already!

I think Mimi might have more luck with this if she listened to me when I told her that kids aren’t interested in lightbulbs or rocks…
Quality time with Belleza and Cielo.
We are now the proud parents of a perfect little princess! Mimi chose her name, Viola, after an instrument used in the classical music she listened to during pregnancy (“I want her to be a little genius!” she told me fondly, over Beethoven’s 9th symphony).
I kinda thought that once I got my daughter, I’d be willing to leave it at that. But actually, I wouldn’t mind being pregnant again myself. Time will tell, but for now I’m just happy with my darling little girl Viola, I couldn’t be happier.
In childbirth, plus grieving for a lost pet. Not a fantastic combination.
So, Mimi is pregnant again! Something beautiful to brighten up this dreary move. Though, I don’t think she agrees with me completely. I couldn’t tell you the amount of times she’s said “why couldn’t you be the one to have this baby?!” - I think she loves it deep down.
Mimi doesn’t mind either way, but I’m holding out for a girl this time…

So, I re-moved the Roses to Pandora and their pets reappeared.
And now they’re all crying in the garden, they’ve been crying for 2 hours. GUISE WHATS WRONG??

Typical evening in the Rose house. Electra reads a book in the kitchen, while a horse gnome watches Mila exercising in a jockey outfit.
Wait…
New mummy Mimi went for a ride to relieve some post-birth stress.. only to be stranded by Cielo! He came back for her, of course, and blessed her to say sorry. But it’s hard to mount a horse in the middle of the night…
So, Mimi gave birth! It wasn’t a girl like we expected, it was a bouncy baby boy! We named him Shiloh - well, Mimi named him. She handles that side of things.
Don’t tell her this, but I’m going to get her pregnant again. I’m still holding out for a daughter!
